Lillian August is excited to support the New Canaan Holiday House Tour through the participation of two of their in-house designers, Cindy Levi and Terrance Rhodes. Cindy Levi‘s passion for architecture and interiors began as a young girl, as she followed her father, a real estate developer, on site visits. She graduated from Syracuse University with a BA in economics and worked in NYC on 7th Ave, until she had her three boys. Shortly after, Cindy went on to pursue a degree in interior design from Fairfield University. Cindy has worked at Lillian August for almost a decade. Her projects include oceanfront properties, country estates and Manhattan apartments. Cindy feels you should always Love How You Live®. Terrance Rhodes has been creating beautiful spaces for his clients at Lillian August for over ten years. Coming to Connecticut from upstate New York, Terrance brings a unique background to his design projects. An accomplished floral and landscape designer with over twenty-five years experience, Terrance takes a holistic approach to design and creates inviting space both indoors and out. Terrance’s expertise with greenery and botanicals is especially on display during the festive holiday season. He loves to create ambience and warmth in spaces meant to be shared with loved ones.

The Design Dot Team Megan Wunderlich is the founder of Design Dot in addition to being one of it’s designers. Design Dot as a business evolved from the belief that great design should be attainable for everyone. The foundation of Megan’s design philosophy is that of collaboration. Her creative and insightful approach is best implemented when inspired by the clients’ own design aesthetic. Samantha Kings's love for staging and styling came out of her years at Sotheby’s, her unique eye and her addiction to décor. With a background in real estate, Samantha parlayed her experience in to a business and began helping clients prep, de-clutter and restyle their homes before listing them for sale. Samantha's styling integrates years of traveling in Portugal and Morocco, living in Colorado and returning to Connecticut. She blends a chic and eclectic twist to traditional, rustic and contemporary design. Samantha utilizes personal pieces of the homeowner and helps showcase overlooked treasures. She also stages empty properties to allow prospective buyers a better opportunity to relate to the space. Samantha understands the importance of maintaining the comfort of the owners while still staging the home in a manner best designed to enhance the experience for potential buyers.
Debbie Jackson’s passion for design led her to a BA in Fashion Merchandising from Radford University. She went on to study Fashion Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. After a decade of designing clothing for the Gap Inc. and other large retailers in NYC, Debbie made the inevitable switch to interiors. As a mother of two small children, Debbie understands the challenges keeping spaces kid-friendly, without compromising good design. She strives to create spaces that are clean, fresh, and modern, and which reflect the client’s personality.
Kate Ferguson - Palomino Bazaar Kate Ferguson is the founder of Palomino Bazaar a full service interior design business based out of New Canaan, CT. Palomino Bazaar believes that a beautifully designed house is a sum of its parts, thoughtfully curated and developed over time. Colors, layered textiles, curated accessories and globally inspired touches are what personalize a Palomino Bazaar home. Kate takes notice of a client’s lifestyle and will source everything from antique rugs and custom furniture to lighting and wallpaper to enhance the home as a reflection of who they are and how they live. Lora Gray - Gray Interiors After departing the world of fashion to earn a degree from the New York School of Interior Design, Lora launched Gray Interiors in 2008 to pursue her passion for designing beautiful and yet functional living spaces. "My philosophy on design is quite simple . . . I want to create interiors that are reflective of the personality of the homeowners and showcase the character of the home in its natural environment.” Working with clients, architects, and contractors - and all the subcontractors - from concept to completion, Lora has taken on everything from full-service interior design work to architectural interiors and space planning. Lora has successfully completed projects in Rowayton, New Canaan, Darien, Nantucket, Stratton Vt., and is currently working on an exciting new project in Blue Hill Maine.
