Events
The Newcomers Club of New Canaan plans events throughout the year for its members. Events are created to help new residents meet one another, form connections, and get to know our wonderful town. By attending Newcomers events, you’ll become better acquainted with your growing community and have a ton of fun in the process!
Here are a few examples of Newcomers events held in 2022: Fall Family Fair at Camp Playland, Yuletide Ball Holiday Party, Touch a Truck featuring our local New Canaan police and fire units, Friendsgiving Dinner at Waveny House, Kiwanis Beach Childrens Events, and so much more!

Each member who participates in any Club activity does so at his or her own discretion and risk. The Newcomers Club of New Canaan, Inc., will not be held liable for any damage loss or injuries which may occur, directly or indirectly, as a result of such participation, including, without limitation, the attendance of functions at the home of a member. Each Club member and guest expressly holds the Newcomers Club of New Canaan, Inc., and any member harmless and shall indemnify same from all damages, claims, expenses of any nature caused as a result of your membership and participation in the Club and its related activities. In an effort to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our Club members at all of our events, it has been suggested by our outsider advisors that an alcohol policy be clearly established, stated and enforced. Therefore it is expected that all Club members and their guests will act responsibly in the consumption of alcohol and will either assign a designated driver or make other transportation arrangements when needed. Attendance at any Newcomers event will serve to demonstrate your consent and acceptance to the aforementioned terms and conditions.
